Dominic Eberl’s practice includes extensive experience acting for clients in relation to regulatory investigations, enforcement activities and complex litigation. Dominic’s clients include major banks, crypto and tech start-ups, government entities and other financial institutions. He has particular experience acting for entities in the financial services sector, including advising on their engagement with major regulators, such as APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC and ICAC. Dominic acts for clients in a wide range of matters, including class actions, penalty proceedings, contract disputes, defamation claims, and in relation to exercise of statutory powers. Dominic also assists clients in responding to Royal Commissions, including acting for Westpac in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry.
