Eric McLaughlin is a partner in Davis Polk's financial institutions group. His practice focuses on capital markets and M&A transactions and strategic bank regulatory advice, including on financial services reform, regulatory implementation and the preparation of living wills. He has advised clients on the Bank Holding Company Act, the National Bank Act, the Home Owners' Loan Act, and various other statutes and regulations applicable to financial institutions. His clients include US and non-US SIFIs, regional banks, non-bank subsidiaries of BHCs and investors in financial institutions.

Mr McLaughlin received his BA, summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 and his JD, cum laude, from New York University School of Law in 2011, where he was a notes editor for the NYU Journal of Law and Business.
