Francisco Boavida Salavessa is a partner at SÉRVULO’s Finance & Governance and Restructuring & Insolvency departments, who has joined the team in 2011 from Cuatrecasas. He completed a postgraduate course in Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. He has developed an unparalleled expertise in restructuring and insolvency in the financial sector. His most recent work has focused on the assistance to banks subject to resolution measures and liquidation, in all matters pertaining to the dealings and business activities of these banks in distress, including relations with customers, creditors, investors, shareholders and regulatory entities. Francisco also advises on debt restructuring, distressed financing and rescheduling deals, both on the lenders’ and borrowers’ side. He is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association
