Liam Flynn

Liam Flynn is a partner and co-head of financial regulation at Mason Hayes & Curran LLP. His practice focuses on the regulation of banks, insurers, fintech and crypto firms, and he has extensive experience of advising major domestic and international banks on all aspects of perimeter, prudential and conduct of business regulation affecting their operations in Ireland. In addition to his private practice experience, he served a seven-year term as deputy general counsel of the Bank for International Settlements, the global centre for financial regulatory reform, based in Basel, Switzerland. He holds degrees in law from University College Dublin and Cambridge University.
